Google has begun rolling out Android 4.2.2 to Nexus 4 users in the form of an over-the-air update. Known as build JDQ39, the 54MB update was released for the other Nexus devices earlier.?

Unlike Apple, Google doesn`t provide an official change-log detailing what the update?encompasses. Given the fact that its low in size and carriers a simple x.x.2 naming, the 4.2.2 update carries simple fixes.

Additionally, an?estimated remaining time and progress percentage for an ongoing download notification is now present, new sounds for wireless charging and low battery alerts are included, and long pressing WiFi and Bluetooth on the 4.2 quick settings now allows them to be used as conventional toggles, according to XDA.

Nexus 4 owners, the few that got their hands on a handset when it was in-stock for a short while, can fire up the device it should load a prompt to update. Advance users can download the update from the source link below, though we have to warn, it`s not a route for the weary.?
